Accepting an insurance means we are on a provider panel for the insurance and are generally familiar with the insurance benefits and billing procedures. We will bill your insurance directly for covered services and materials, and you will be responsible for applicable co payments and deductibles. If your insurance denies payment for any reason, it will be your responsibility to take care of the bill. We will do our best to help you determine your benefit ahead of time, so that you can make an informed decision about any discretionary purchases. If you don’t see your insurance carrier listed, be aware that most insurances have “out of network” benefits. If you have insurance through another company, we ask that you pay us directly.
Use your Health Savings Account / Flexible Saving Account for any eye care needs!
Many individuals have high deductible insurance plans with an associated Health Savings Account or Flexible Spending Account (or, if you are lucky, a low deductible insurance plan with company contributions into an HSA or FSA!)
Whatever the specifics of your case if you have an HSA or FSA you can use these monies for virtually any service or product our office provides, including co payments, unmet deductibles, frames, lenses, lens coatings, medical services, contact lens services, or contact lenses.
